Everyone who has read, watched, or listened to Mahabharata might be aware of " Gandhari ", the queen of Hastinapura, wife of Dritarashtra, and mother of Kauravas. Many people know Kauravas, Gandhari, and their rivalry with the Pandavas which led to the great battle of Kurukshetra. But how Kauravas were born is an interesting episode to understand how we all have Gandhari in us. So, How are Kauravas born?  Sage Dwaipayana gave a boon to Gandhari to have 100 sons as a token of appreciation for her hospitality during his stay at Hastinapura. She became pregnant after some time and was pregnant for nearly two years. Yes, you read it right. Gandhari was pregnant for two years. Birth of Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata & Shatrughna

Here is an interesting post I asked about the birth of Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata, & Shatrughna.   Here is a tricky question about Ramayana. Were Rama, Lakshmana, Bharata & Shatrughna born on the same day? #Ramayana — The Phoenix🐦 (@3011_ajit) September 29, 2023 Before going into the answers, let's be clear that a day in the times of Ramayana used to be based on the lunar movement. Out of 17 votes, 5 people thought that all four brothers were born on the same day and the remaining 12 people voted that four brothers were not born on the same day.  And the majority is correct here. So, how can we conclude this? Valmiki Ramayana is very clear about this. It was in late Feb 2020, the Indian government decided to shut down all the educational institutions indefinitely as a part of the fighting against the pandemic, COVID19. A similar situation prevailed in other countries too. Given the acute stress of the alarming infection rates of COVID19, all the schools and colleges complied with the regulation. But at the same time, the management of the educational institutions are bothered due to chronic stress associated with the long term plans of the institutions and the uncertainty about the resuming the classes.
